Today,we had team sports,that we didn’t even know was happening! And I surprised my self in soft ball.../cricket? But I enjoyed it because I could hit the ball really far! That tae Kwon do was paying of! But we were on the fielding side a lot and when you put selwen and Atkin together you get a strong team...Tom even hit it out of  schoolgrounds! But we got it back even the SECOND time he did it. I wondered how much longer until we got to go home,but it felt like it was only a minute and then we got to go pack up which felt like a second...But finally we got to go home .🏠

Orbeez Stress balls! Passion projects

Orbeez stress ball!

Today I have made an orbeez stress ball. It took at least 40 - 35 minutes to grow but we finally did it. It was either me or Annabelle to take it home, it was the first to 3 points in paper scissors rock, I got it! we had a fail but we did it. The failure splurted them everywhere we got to take the extra when we had enough to fill it without breaking. It seems a bit...odd that I have never had orbeez until now, I mean like, everyone seems to have one or two once but this is the day that I have ever had one. Either way, I think that today was a great day. I hope next time we have no mistakes!

Swimming

Swimming

Week 1 and 2 Were super fun! When we got there he told us our lanes, all our lanes were 1-5 I was in 3.
It seems fun! My favorite swimming stroke was freestyle. Although swimming is fun we had to miss our lunch break, that's fine we missed  Some minutes of class, after all, I kind of enjoyed that. We did have to go up a lane I don't know why. When swimming was over I thought 'that was fun'.  After a day we saw this bus, although it had only been a day I missed swimming it was the end of our adventure for swimming. Next year, I'll try harder than ever! it only seemed like yesterday that we ended swimming, hopefully, when we go back I will be better!

Annabelles back!

 Annabelles back!

  Today I was going to school like usual then I saw, Annabelle! I was thrilled!

Annabelle was gone for 4 weeks, 2 of the weeks were holiday weeks but still...

I tried to catch up but only Caught up until Annabelle was at the class stairs.

we hugged and we went up I shouted "ANNABELLES BACK!!" and a lot of the girls came running/ jogging to her and they did a massive group hug. after it seemed like a normal day but with Annabelle
It was a great day!

Bird species made with maddie b

Bird Species

For conservation week we were out looking for birds or evidence that birds had been to our school. We saw a lot of different bird species and a couple that was native. In total, we found 56 birds and 1 nest.

Over a two day period, we were looking at birds in and around Kohimarama School.  The following table show how many bird species we found and the number of those birds.  we found 6 species and one nest. We found 36 sparrows! That was the most in the tally charts 2nd was seagulls with 5 3rd crows with 4 4th tuis, blackbirds and pigeons tied at 3! And then 5th was the spotted bird and one we don’t know the name of.

In conclusion, this is for conversation week, we think that there are a lot of birds that live in kohimarama school,(56 birds and one nest) and most of the birds are fully protected like the tui.

Heya! today was a great day!😀we finished our passion projects! and that's why it's a great day.my and Natasha did a colouring competition for the year threes!It was tough...But we figured it out with teamwork!We did a castle and doodled a little bit but it was totally worth it.Natasha is a artist while me i though mine was okay.Today we figured out that they already coloured it!but we were fine with it we just had to figure out who should be 1st 2nd and 3rd.We figured it out eventually,i picked 2 and Natasha picked 1. i think we did well in the end.There was that 1 time that i absolutely hated Juliet tho,it was when she flicked water at us and got a our nice castle wet!😡But that was in the past,now we have finished and now is only the present.I can't wait till next passion projects!
